Motophone (Nig.) Ltd. ('the company') warrants all equipment supplied by the company, and used expressly for Network communications, to be free of faults arising from defects in design, workmanship or materials.
Should any fault due to bad design, workmanship or materials be proven at any time within the prescribed period, the company will remedy such fault free of charge provided the equipment is returned, carriage paid, to the company or to a service center authorized by the company. The prescribed period for all products is twelve (12) months after shipment from the factory. In the event that the end user completes and lodges warranty registration documents within four (4) months of shipment from the factory the prescribed period shall be either thirty-six (36) months after receipt by the end user, or thirty-nine (39) months after the date of purchase by the end user - whichever occurs first.
This warranty shall not extend to any abuse, accident, or improper installation, connection, adjustment or use otherwise than in accordance with the instructions issued by the company.
Subject to the matters set out in this warranty, no liability expressed or implied, is accepted for any consequential loss, damage or injury arising as a result of a fault in the equipment, and all expressed or implied warranties as to quality or fitness for any purpose are hereby expressly excluded.
This warranty does not extend to products supplied by the company, which are designed or manufactured by it. The company will, however, make every endeavor to ensure that the purchaser receives full benefit of any warranty given by the manufacturer.
This warranty is restricted to the original purchaser. Where the original purchaser is a reseller who has purchased for the purpose of resale or the end user who has purchased for the purpose of directly using, warranty shall be extended to the reseller's customer or directly to the customer if directly involved.
